Here is part two of Adrienne and Ryan’s Caribbean wedding in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Their ceremony was so sweet! Clint and I felt so special because we made up half of the guests in attendance! It was so fun to photograph a wedding totally barefoot as well. Totally my style!

I don’t think Adrienne and Ryan could have asked for a more perfect backdrop! The weather was perfect…no rain and we were able to get an earlier time which made for great photo taking light! I seriously don’t think anyone could take a bad photo at this gorgeous location. Total heaven! I loved it! Here are some of our favorites from the ceremony and photo shoot.

I am SO excited to finally share with you part one of Adrienne and Ryan’s amazing Dominican Republic wedding!

I am so, so grateful that they asked us to come and photograph their wedding. Since I started photographing weddings, it has been a DREAM of mine to photograph a wedding in the Caribbean! Every time I would look at another photographer’s blog and view their gorgeous destination photographs, I would say a quick prayer that I could book a wedding in a Caribbean! I NEVER thought it would happen so soon! I am so thankful that Adrienne and Ryan decided to forgo the huge wedding and instead, have a small, private and super romantic wedding in the beautiful Dominican Republic!

We were able to travel and hang out with them at the Excellence Punta Cana for the first two days. We did a day before photo shoot that I’ll be sharing as well! On Sunday, Clint and I photographed their wonderful wedding. I offered to do Adrienne’s hair and make-up (one of my other passions), so Clint took these great getting ready photos. After they were both ready, we took a couple separate portraits and then headed to the beach for their ceremony. Lots more photos coming soon!

Watch out because these senior photos are smokin’ hot! Waren and I had so much fun shooting her senior photos! We checked out some new spots and she totally worked it out! As you can tell, I had a lot of favorites from her session. Enjoy!

How about another round of Ask Me Anything? I’m typing up this blog post as I sit on a plane heading home from my last wedding for 2009. I can’t believe what a year it has been! I have been so blessed and learned so much and have had the opportunity to work with some amazing people! I’d love to hear from all of you that follow my blog and keep up with all my busyness!

I was so blessed to be able to shoot another wedding for another Mid-Cities Community Church couple! I meet with Crystal and Michael several weeks before their wedding and totally clicked with them right away! I was so happy that they decided to do a “first look” and see each other before the wedding. Because their reception was there at the church, they were able to be totally finished with their photos before their ceremony and enjoy their entire reception without having to take photos with people all around. I totally recommend that all my couples do this! It’s so much more relaxing and you have a lot more stress-free time for pictures! Here are some of my favorites from their wedding day! I am officially an aunt! My little nephew, Andrew arrived this Sunday at 1:30pm and weighed 6lbs and 13oz. He is so perfect and totally precious! Kim and Matt are going to make wonderful parents! Here are a couple photos I took of him last night. SO CUTE!
