Duthie: Family

Out of all the families I have photographed so far, I feel honored to have been able to photograph the Duthie family. Only a couple weeks ago, the Duthies lost their dad and husband, Matt to cancer. It was very quick and unexpected and so very sad for them and all those around them including my family. I was so glad I was able to bless the Duthie ladies with a photo shoot documenting their strength and love together at this time in their lives. We love you guys!

Our First House: The Before

Clint and I just recently bought our first house! We are so excited and we love it so much! There are so many things that make this house great like the unique layout, the large backyard, the huge master bedroom and bathroom and of course, my HUGE new office space! We are in the process of fixing the inside up and getting it just the way we want it. After we work on the inside, we have lots of work to do on the outside, but it is so much fun!

Here is a video that Clint and I made of the house BEFORE we starting remodeling. I am not a video editing professional and our camera is no good, but I hope you enjoy it anyway!

Here are some before photos that I took before we starting tearing down walls and making a mess. Can’t wait to show you the after photos, but it may be a little while.

Sarah: Headshots

Sarah and I were best friends in third and fourth grade and I can’t believe how much we have grown up! Sarah is an aspiring theater actress and she asked me to take some headshots for her. Despite some rain, we had so much fun catching up and taking some photos for her. Isn’t she totally gorgeous?!? Here are a couple of my favorites!

Whitlock: Family

I had been wanting to photograph the Whitlock family ever since their baby girl, Marley was born! Carrie and I both used to work at Archiver’s and we share a love for all things papergoods and invitations! Cory is a talented graphic designer and Carrie works in downtown Denver and designs invitations on the side. They are the sweetest family and I have loved keeping in touch with them. I was so happy that I finally got to take their family photos! Here are some of my favorites from their session in Denver City Park!

After the Teague family, I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph the Salas family. I also went to church with Nancy and she recently adopted two beautiful children from Africa. Teague: Family

How stinkin’ cute are these two girls? I went to church with the Teague family family when I lived in Colorado and their youngest daughter was in my Sunday school class. During one of my summer trips to Colorado, I offered mini-sessions at Denver City Park and I was so glad when the Teagues decided to have me photograph them. I loved their outfits and they brought along the cutest vintage bike that matched perfectly! I had so much fun taking their photos!

Sarah + Spencer: Wedding

When Sarah first called me, she described my photography style as “organic.” I LOVED that! Sarah is also very organic and down to earth and when I finally got to meet her, we had a great time talking about her wedding and style! Her and Spencer meet because of their love for world travel and I know these two will be traveling all over the world together! Sarah and Spencer’s wedding was a Caprock Winery in Lubbock, Texas and it was such a neat venue! They also opted to see each other before the the wedding which made it so stress free and relaxed. All the time and details that Sarah put into her wedding were just fabulous.

Thank you, Sarah and Spencer for having us come photograph your wedding! We just LOVED it!

Katrina + Daniel: Renewal Ceremony

I seriously believe that God brings me all the right clients at the right time and Katrina and Daniel was a perfect example! I was already going to be in Lubbock shooting a wedding and when I saw that Katrina was in need of a photographer the night before, I knew I could help!

Katrina and Daniel were married ten years ago and wanted to have a ceremony with their friends and family to celebrate and renew their vows. Katrina is also expecting their third child and I have to say, isn’t she the most gorgeous pregnant woman ever?!? Clint and I loved getting to know them during our short time together. Their ceremony out in the country was so very sweet and a wonderful reminder of God’s grace and love through marriage. I had so much fun capturing their day because is was like a couple, maternity, wedding and family session all rolled into one.

Katrina and Daniel, thank you so much for having us come photograph your wonderful ceremony!
